Tren ini tentu ingin mereka lanjutkan, sekaligus membalas kekalahan 0-1 dari Persib pada pertemuan pertama. Dengan skuad terbaik yang tersedia, peluang itu cukup terbuka.

Di sisi lain, Persib harus bermain tanpa bek andalan Patricio Matricardi. Namun, pelatih Bojan Hodak masih memiliki opsi lain di lini belakang, seperti Julio Cesar. Persib juga mengincar kemenangan demi menjaga jarak dengan Borneo FC dan Persija Jakarta yang sudah lebih dulu meraih hasil positif.
